Dodik attended the opening of the international tournament “Games of the Future” last week in Kazan, in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan. In response to a question from the Russian “Izvestia” about whether Republika Srpska is ready to host the “Games of the Future” on its territory, Dodik replied that this event should definitely be held in Republika Srpska, which is ready to work on it with all its partners and friends.
The “Games of the Future” were opened by Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom the President of Republika Srpska also met.
Speaking about the meetings with Putin, Dodik said that these meetings are always very substantive, full of trust, and he is pleased that, according to the information he has, they have met 24 times so far.
“This certainly flatters me very much,” added Dodik.
The “Games of the Future” are the world’s first major international “phygital” sports tournament, meaning that in addition to physical competitions in traditional sports, there will also be special competitions for digital sport, in which participants from around the world will participate online.
