Theatrical heroes from Belgrade are coming to Banja Luka.

Theatrical heroes from Belgrade are coming to Banja Luka.

After the Children’s Theatre of Republika Srpska visited the “Duško Radović” Little Theatre in Belgrade with two performances at the end of last year, February marks the time for a reciprocal exchange of visits – on February 27th and 28th in Banja Luka.

“This beautiful tradition presents to the little Belgraders the production of the national theater of Republika Srpska, and then the children of Republika Srpska joyfully welcome the theatrical heroes from Belgrade,” announced the Children’s Theatre of Republika Srpska.

“Little Red Riding Hood” and “Once There Was a Lion” were guests at “Radović,” and their colleagues reciprocate with two plays as well – “Peer Gynt in the Kingdom of Trolls,” directed by Isidora Goncić, and “The Fate of One Charlie,” directed by Ana Tomović.

The annual exchange of plays between the two theaters is a representative way to showcase the strengths of their ensembles and promote mutual understanding and closeness in the cultural fields of the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska.
