The Russian Embassy in BiH has stated that the process of European Union enlargement is unfolding under the dictate of Washington, which seeks to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.
Commenting on the stance of the EU Delegation in BiH regarding the meeting of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Embassy said that the nervous reaction of this delegation looks like an ultimatum from the master – the EU, to the vassal – BiH.
“We want to ask our European colleagues – where has the respect for the sovereignty of BiH, which Brussels so often emphasizes, disappeared to? It turns out that when politicians in BiH act in the interests of their voters and people, but contrary to the positions of the so-called collective West, they are automatically declared ‘agents of the Kremlin,’ spreading ‘malicious Russian influence.’ We see blatant hypocrisy in such an approach, which testifies to the forgetting of proclaimed European values for the sake of the geopolitical aspirations of its senior partner – the United States,” the Embassy stated.
The Russian Embassy pointed out that “it has long been evident that the process of European Union enlargement is not based on the lofty ideals of Western civilization but under the dictate of Washington, which fanatically strives for a narrowly selfish and at the same time insane goal – to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.”
“Therefore, the EU has turned into a powerless and submissive instrument of the United States, which ruthlessly encourages the Nazi regime in Kiev to the detriment of the true aspirations of the people of Europe, who have become hostages of Brussels bureaucracy,” the Embassy added.
