The Kozara Museum has received recognition from the Belgrade magazine “Borba” for its exceptional contribution to the development of museum activities. This magazine focuses on culture and art topics, and awards were presented to institutions and individuals on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the name Borba and four years of the magazine’s existence.

The Director of the Kozara Museum, Dragana Mamić, emphasizes that they are proud of the recognition, as it comes in the year when this institution from Prijedor marks its 70th anniversary.

“It was an extraordinary honor to attend the award ceremony in Belgrade, but also to receive such significant recognition. I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate ‘Borba’ on its birthday and its longevity that spans over a century, but also to thank our Mayor Slobodan Javor, without whose support we could not operate at the capacity we do.

The cooperation of the Kozara Museum with the City Administration over the past year has been at an enviable level. We have absolute support from the City Administration, and precisely that has resulted in this award,” said Mamić.
