The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a serious lie that cannot function.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a political community, will never be constructed, so it is best that it disbands. Our regions are ours, they belong to Republika Srpska. Bosnia and Herzegovina is internationally recognized, but it is still highly subordinate. From their side, a sustainable political option has never been offered. If you wish to defeat someone, they will fight to prevent it, and so will we. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, we harbor animosities towards each other, a desire for separation, due to the constant attempts to centralize Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are not seeking help, but we want to make it known to people, how things stand in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Without an idea, Bosnia and Herzegovina will fall apart sooner or later,” said Dodik for RTRS.

He emphasized that Republika Srpska cannot be “diminished” in order for Bosnia and Herzegovina to be “enlarged,” stating that Christian Schmidt and foreign judges in the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina are unacceptable for Republika Srpska.

Dodik stated that Republika Srpska will defend its position through political means, which has been under continuous pressure since the Dayton Agreement.

The President of Republika Srpska mentioned that everything that has happened so far in terms of adopting “European” laws at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was with the support and approach of officials from Republika Srpska, but there are always minor deceptions from the meeting in Laktaši.

“The American ambassador /Michael/ Murphy comes and says he disagrees with our agreement. Then they change everything just because of one Murphy,” highlighted Dodik.

Dodik mentioned that there is no issue with the adoption of the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorist Organizations, but they have destroyed that agreement to adopt this law together with the remaining two laws.

“We hadn’t even arrived in Banja Luka when they immediately pressured to adopt this Law, then they staged calls from this or that side, all in an attempt to make me say ‘here, we won’t vote’ and to say ‘here, Dodik is for financing terrorist organizations,'” explained Dodik.

Dodik mentioned that they have an agreed-upon law about the court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to which the seat of the Appellate Division is in Banja Luka.

“We are ready to accept this law, and if not, they will get nothing,” Dodik conveyed.

The President of Republika Srpska also mentioned that meeting the Russian President Vladimir Putin is a privilege, regardless of what is said in the West.

“Putin has a positive attitude towards his people and country, defends the subjectivity, sovereignty, and freedom of the Russian people, and has a lot of understanding for all friends, regardless of where they come from,” said Dodik.
