President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik visited the state institution “Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantation, and Hematology” during the official visit of the Republika Srpska delegation to Belarus.

This center performs all directions of modern medicine and has about 1,000 beds. It also conducts the most advanced organ transplantations, with Belarus ranking ninth in the world by the number of performed transplantations.

About 6,000 surgeries have been conducted in the last 10 years.

Over the past few years, 21 patients from Republika Srpska have undergone surgery in this center, and another 28 are waiting for their operations.

Minister of Health Alen Šeranić is also present with Dodik.

Today, several meetings related to the economy and agriculture will be held.

Tomorrow is scheduled for a meeting between President Dodik and the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, with meetings with the Prime Minister of Belarus and the president of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences also planned.
