Russia, a guarantor of the Dayton Peace Agreement, is concerned about the unlawful activities of Western participants in the normalization efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which the West has turned into its colony, stated Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Zakharova pointed out that the collective West has stripped BiH of its sovereignty and turned it into its colony.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina’s sovereignty was clearly taken away by those who loudly advocate for it, citing the Dayton Agreement,” Zakharova said in Moscow during a regular press briefing.

According to her, European BiH has been turned into a colony of the collective West, which continues to experiment on the peoples of this country, who were already victims of NATO aggression in 1995.

“The goal of the West’s colonial policy is to turn BiH into a political and raw material appendage of the Western bloc,” she stated.

Zakharova emphasized that Russia supports the principle of equality of the three peoples and two entities contained in the Dayton Peace Agreement, as reported by Sputnik.

“Only in this way can stability and peace in BiH and the Balkans as a whole be counted on,” Zakharova concluded.
