The hearing for Miloš Lukić, the acting director of the Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska, is currently underway at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Citizens and public officials have gathered outside the judicial institutions complex in Sarajevo to show their support for Lukić.

Lukić arrived accompanied by his lawyer, Miljkan Pucar, and was greeted with loud applause.

Among those gathered were the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, as well as ministers in the Government of the Republika Srpska, Denis Šulić, Savo Minić, and Zlatan Klokić.

Members of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska, as well as Radovan Kovačević, a delegate of the Serbian people’s club in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, also came to support Lukić.

The mayor of East Sarajevo, Ljubiša Ćosić, heads of municipalities from the eastern part of the Republika Srpska, and representatives of organizations from the Defense-Patriotic War were also among the attendees.

Lukić is being tried for not implementing decisions made by Christian Schmidt.

The cases against Lukić and the President of the Republic of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, have been officially separated, although there is still only one indictment. Lukić’s defense has requested the merging of the cases, but has not yet received a response.
