The President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, today received in Banja Luka the Greek Ambassador to BiH, Ioanna Efthimiadou, on her inaugural visit, during which he emphasized that Srpska highly appreciates the support Greece currently provides to BiH in the process of meeting the conditions for opening accession negotiations with the EU.
Stevandić expressed gratitude for the humanitarian and economic assistance Greece provided during the 1990s, as reported by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.
Stevandić briefed Efthimiadou on the current political situation, relations among peoples and entities, and the behavior of certain international representatives in BiH.
“The meeting highlighted the importance of maintaining stability and security, both for Republika Srpska and BiH, as well as for the entire region,” states the announcement from the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.
The meeting discussed the current political situation in BiH and the development of bilateral and economic relations.
