Dodik: Putin Understands the Position of the Serb People Well; Russia Supports Agreement in BiH

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, understands the position of the Serb people excellently, and Russia supports an agreement in BiH, which is also our policy, emphasized the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

Dodik expressed gratitude for the stance of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, towards the Serb people, conveyed in a conversation with the American journalist Tucker Carlson.

Dodik mentioned that he is traveling to Russia, Belarus, and Turkey at the end of this month, where he will discuss matters with numerous officials.

“At the end of the month, I am traveling to Russia, and before that, I will stay in Minsk. In early March, I am heading to Antalya where a major economic forum is taking place, sponsored by the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. I believe I will have the opportunity to meet with him as well as many other presidents who are coming to that economic forum,” said Dodik.

In March, the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, will also visit Republika Srpska, Dodik says, and announces that he will visit several European countries in the coming period and discuss with the leaders of those countries.

Regarding Russia, Dodik is confident that President Vladimir Putin does not contribute to the escalation of conflict and wants to protect the people in Ukraine and prevent negative consequences of the West’s actions towards Russia and the Russian people.

“This is not a conflict between the Ukrainian and Russian people. I am sorry about that. The West wants to discipline everyone here, to win us over to impose sanctions on Russia. It is evident that they cannot break Russia in that way,” Dodik pointed out.

Dodik said that the President of the Russian Federation respects other peoples and protects his country.

“We could see that President Putin takes care of his country. The West believed it had the right to quietly occupy Ukraine and that Russia had no right to defend 15 million Russians in that area,” Dodik highlighted.

He believes that the West wants to pressure the Russian Federation to contribute to its disintegration and create several countries that would be easy prey.

“This is clear to President Putin but also to us. It is clear to the whole world that this was the original intention. Therefore, as you could see, Russia retreated in numerous situations to avoid causing a conflict, but now it was pushed against the wall and had to react,” emphasized Dodik.

Dodik said that Putin is ignored in Western media and portrayed as a threat to the whole world.
