The book “My Village Kladari” by author Dragan Đurđević was promoted in Srbac, brimming with numerous photographs and historical data about the village.

Author Dragan Đurđević mentioned his attempt to preserve the events that once adorned the village. “My motivation for writing was to explore our ancestors and our origins,” he said.

Historian and director of the Gradiška Heritage Museum, Bojan Vujčić, emphasized his satisfaction in assisting the young author in publishing his literary debut.

“In less than a year, he managed to gather, prepare, and publish material as a testament to everything interesting about the village of Kladari. Anyone who starts reading this book will find it hard to put it back on the shelf without finishing it. That’s the richness of this book,” Vujčić assessed.

A local writer and member of the Srbac “Prosvjeta” association, Miloš Milinčić, stated that the author eloquently narrated the story that life had already told.

“We can freely say that this is a material and spiritual monument to the village of Kladari,” highlighted Milinčić.

Srbac writer Žarko Šarić mentioned that the author, within the book, accommodated and hosted all the people living in Kladari, preserving memories of ancestors and old times.
The promotion took place last night at the “Uglješa Kojadinović” Cultural Center.
