“A strong earthquake struck Bosnia and Herzegovina tonight and was felt in multiple cities, announced the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC). Initially reported at a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter scale, updated information from EMSC shows that the intensity was slightly lower, at 4.7.

According to EMSC, in contrast to the earlier earthquake around 6:00 PM at a 3.0 magnitude Richter scale, with an epicenter seven kilometers from Banja Luka, this one measured 5.2 in intensity. Its epicenter was near Zenica, and preliminary unofficial reports suggest it caused some material damage in Zenica.”
