According to initial information from EMSC, it occurred at 5:08 PM in and measured around 3.0 on the Richter scale.
New EMSC information indicates the earthquake’s epicenter was seven kilometers from Banja Luka (Republika Srpska), at a depth of 11.4 km.

According to the first comments from Banja Luka residents, the earthquake was strong and quite noticeable, especially in the settlements of Vrbanja and Debeljaci, and was also felt in the nearby Celinac.
“Some gentle swaying while I was sitting.” “A brief rumble.” “I was in the car. I thought it was shaking because of other passing vehicles, but it seems it was an earthquake,” were some comments on the EMSC website.

According to initial information, the earthquake did not cause any material damage.”
