“The Serb Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers, Nenad Nešić, stated today that the question of property has been resolved and it belongs to Republika Srpska. However, if a red line is crossed, Republika Srpska retains the right to take steps in accordance with the right of every person to self-determination,” remarked Nešić.
“I believe that Kristijan Šmit, who is not a high representative, will not cross the red line, but let us convey to him that Republika Srpska and its officials are prepared, in case it happens, to take a united stance and proceed towards dissolution,” Nešić told reporters after the Council of Ministers session.
Discussing the law on the Constitutional Court and the law on the termination of mandates for foreign judges in the Constitutional Court, Nešić mentioned the necessity of addressing this issue promptly. He emphasized the importance of the Constitutional Court being based on the principles of the constituent peoples and the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the two entities and three constituent peoples.
Responding to the statements made by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the FBiH, Ramo Isak, who mentioned that the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, would be arrested if he declared the independence of Republika Srpska, Nešić emphasized that neither Isak nor anyone else would arrest the President of Republika Srpska.
Isak reacted today to Dodik’s statement that Republika Srpska would declare independence if the high representative imposed the law on state property in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
