The sovereignist policy pursued by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is the reason why he is the target of the “collective West,” said university professor and senior research associate at the Institute for International Politics and Economy, Dušan Proković, in program RTRS “Srpska Before the Court.”
Proković expects that the campaign of dehumanizing Dodik will intensify in the coming period, along with attempts to weaken the Republic of Srpska, which, he says, began immediately after the signing of the Dayton Agreement.
“The intention of the United States was to gradually strip Republika Srpska of its powers year by year, to turn it into a shell, into a regional autonomy that will be de-sovereignized, that will be able to deal with education, public health, and matters that are elementary to local self-government, rather than how it looks today, a quarter of a century after the signing of the Dayton Agreement,” emphasized Proković.
