Tatić: The St. George’s Day festival brings together children from all parts of the world

A competition has been announced for compositions for the 30th Djurdjevdan Festival, which will take place on May 17 next year. The deadline for submitting compositions and performers is the last day of this year.

Maja Tatic, a member of the Editorial Board of the “Djurdjevdan Children’s Song Festival” in Banja Luka, called on children aged 8 to 12, or more precisely, their parents, to apply.

Parents register their children, and in addition to the registration, which is sent by e-mail, it is necessary to send an amateur video recording of performing any pop or children’s song up to three minutes – she emphasized.

She pointed out that performers and composers can find all the conditions and forms for applications on the official website of the festival: djeca.rtrs.tv

She reiterated that applications should be sent to the email address: djurdjevdanskifestival@gmail.com

She emphasized that the Djurdjevdan Festival brings together children from all parts of the world.

This festival is one of the best, if not the best, in Southeast Europe – said Tatic.

Young performers can also be suggested by authors of compositions who nominate their original songs for the Best Children’s Composition of 2024.

The primary criterion for composers is that the song has not been performed or officially published before.
