The future of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina should be determined by the people who live there, regardless of the solutions that others attempt to impose, Russian President Vladimir Putin conveyed at the annual press conference.
“We are familiar with the situation in Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Russia’s assessment of this situation is entirely aligned with the leadership of Republika Srpska. Concerning the future of BiH and Srpska, it should be shaped by the people inhabiting that territory. No matter what solutions from the past are being imposed, if we wish to live in a balanced world, ultimately, the plans and aspirations of the people living there should be taken into account,” Putin conveyed.
“We will build the future of our relations with Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina based on these principles,” Putin said in response to a question from a journalist from Republika Srpska’s Banja Luka Atv.
He added that it’s regrettable there aren’t any Russian media outlets in Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina and suggested that this issue needs to be addressed.
