During a session in the National Assembly, Finance Minister of Republika Srpska, Zora Vidović, announced that a new fiscalization system is set to enter the testing phase in February. She further stated that the full implementation of this system, expected to bring additional revenue to the Republic, is anticipated in May next year.
Minister Vidović revealed that all economic entities would receive new fiscal cash registers at the expense of the budget, and their procurement is scheduled for the beginning of the upcoming year. Responding to parliamentary questions during the Q&A session, she emphasized that, despite global challenges beyond their control, the government has actively worked on mitigating high inflation in Republika Srpska.
Vidović outlined the government’s determination to assist the population and create a favorable business environment to support successful economic activities in the coming year. The Finance Minister also mentioned that the government, along with the relevant ministry and aided by modern technologies, will focus on monitoring the operations of public enterprises in Republika Srpska to enhance their performance and reduce indebtedness.
In a related context, Minister of Labor and Veterans’ Affairs, Danijel Egić, highlighted that veterans across all categories from first to seventh are entitled to a monthly veterans’ allowance. The initial disbursements occurred in October, with the most recent in November, covering 146,000 veterans.
