“The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in terms of the verdicts it issues and in the perception of the public in Republika Srpska, is essentially a miniature Hague Tribunal. This is further evidenced by the judicial process underway against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Acting Director of the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, Miloš Lukić,” stated Dušan Pavlović, Director of the Center for Socio-Political Research, as a guest on the third episode of the ‘The Border Exists’ podcast.

“He likened the Hague Tribunal, which is, clearly, a political story—no need to reiterate that—to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, asserting that it is, in essence, a ‘small’ Hague Tribunal. This is evident in the verdicts, types of trials, and processes, particularly the trials of Serbs for alleged or so-called wartime crimes,” Pavlović explained.

He cautioned that the judicial process against Dodik and Lukić is just one among many attacks on Republika Srpska and not the last.

“Republika Srpska has no choice. Republika Srpska must win, not only in this trial but in this situation, because if we allow this phase to conclude, the next target will be property and territory. Borders are being redrawn every day,” emphasized Pavlović, speaking on the third episode of ‘The Border Exists’ podcast, which airs every Friday at 6 p.m. and serves as a continuation of the support activities for Republika Srpska’s institutions expressed through the 17 people’s protests organized at the border between Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
