“Representatives from numerous organizations stemming from the Defensive-Patriotic War gathered today outside the building of the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to show their support for the institution of the President of Republika Srpska.
As previously mentioned, delegations from the Veterans’ Association of Republika Srpska, the Republic’s Organization of Families of Captured and Fallen Soldiers and Missing Civilians, the Association of Camp Detainees, the Alliance of Organizations and Associations of War Veterans with Disabilities, women war victims, Veterans, and Senior Officers of the Army of Republika Srpska will attend the trial of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić, at the Court of BiH.”
It appears that various representatives and organizations, including Serbian representatives in the Federation, numerous local councilors, and officials, are expressing their support for the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, amidst the ongoing trial.
The President of the Veterans’ Association in East New Sarajevo, Dragiša Tuševljak, mentioned that the association supports the institutions of Republika Srpska, particularly the office of the President, which is currently under scrutiny. They are coming to Sarajevo today to convey the message: “It’s time to let us live in peace!”
Božica Živković Rajilić, the President of the Association of Women War Victims of Republika Srpska, stated that the members of the association offer their full support to President Milorad Dodik in what they perceive as a fabricated trial at the Court of BiH.
Anđelko Nosović, President of the Association of Camp Detainees of Republika Srpska, finds it unacceptable that there is a legal process against the duly elected President of Republika Srpska, who operates within the laws and the Constitution of the entity. He believes that such actions from part of the international community and Schmidt are aimed at demonizing the Serbian people and everything related to them.
Isidora Graorac, President of the Republic’s Organization of Families of Captured, Fallen Soldiers, and Missing Civilians, emphasized that today’s trial defends the institutions of Republika Srpska, for which Serbian fathers and sons sacrificed their lives. According to her, the trial is an act of violence targeting President Dodik, who supported decisions made by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, as well as the acting director of the Official Gazette who published those decisions.
Today marks the beginning of the main trial at the Court of BiH involving Dodik and Lukić.
