“Bosnia and Herzegovina must find a functioning model without foreigners, and the 14 priorities necessary for entry into the European Union are far from being realized,” stated Miloš Šolaja, a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Banja Luka.
“Foreign representatives are a factor in the political game in BiH. Political Sarajevo, represented by the Bosniaks, consistently anticipate that their war aims will be achieved with the help of international institutions,” Šolaja told RTRS.
He believes that the politicians’ recent trip to Brussels was futile since nothing has changed.
Šolaja emphasized that progress can only be made if BiH is structured based on the principles of the Dayton Agreement.
He mentioned that entering the EU isn’t a matter of personal choice but happens when invited, and all contributions, labeled as aid, are actually structural adjustments for alignment with the Union.
“They aren’t giving us money; they’re investing in themselves,” Šolaja said.”
