“The European Union acknowledges the commitment and positive developments regarding the essential and long-awaited reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” stated Oliver Varhelyi, the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement.
He further expressed his pleasure in welcoming the participants to the Second High-Level Political Forum on European Integration in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Much has happened since our previous meeting in Sarajevo. We see commitment. We see positive developments regarding much-needed and long-awaited reforms,” stated Varhelyi.
Political party leaders from Bosnia and Herzegovina met with Varhelyi in Brussels ahead of the High-Level Political Forum between the EU and BiH on progress in European integration.
On that occasion, the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, mentioned that the European path of BiH is not in dispute for Republika Srpska. However, he highlighted that there are numerous challenges on this path that must respect the Constitution.
