The Republika Srpska is a serious and constructive partner actively contributing to accelerating Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European path, evident in everything accomplished so far along that road. In Brussels, we’ll gauge just how serious Europe is about us, stated Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska.

“If there’s a departure from previous announcements, and it seems like that could happen, it means they aren’t sufficiently sincere towards Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Dodik remarked.

The President reiterated the challenge of remaining optimistic, especially when observing how some of the members opposing the opening of accession talks don’t understand the circumstances and relationships within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The accusations coming from the Netherlands regarding Srpska reveal their lack of understanding of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s structure and its Constitution, as they accuse Srpska’s representatives of undermining non-existent institutions,” Dodik clearly emphasized.

Dodik emphasizes that Srpska will persist in its initial positions.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina can only enter the EU without foreign intervention. That means no high representative, neither real nor fake, nor foreign judges. If they deviate from that again, then they can’t say it’s Srpska hindering the processes. It’s the foreigners doing it, and that’s already clear,” Dodik emphasized.

According to him, the path of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the EU can only be disrupted by the so-called Bosnian patriots who have dismantled the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, transforming them into party headquarters and Muslim outposts.
“No one reacts to the circus we’ve been watching for days in the Federation and the attempts to escalate the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The only reaction coming from the EU and America always concerns Republika Srpska, and such a one-sided approach will have to change,” Dodik emphasized.
