Banja Luka is welcoming the arrival of 2024 with its most extensive and impressive offer yet, packed with a multitude of new contents for the upcoming winter holidays.

For citizens and tourists alike, there will be the “Winter Fun Fair,” and a new addition will be the “Winter Park” organized in Mladen Stojanović Park. The grand opening is scheduled for December 3rd.

Banja Luka is set to shine brighter than ever this upcoming New Year’s Eve. Several concerts, daytime parties, a rich gastronomic offer, and splendid entertainment await visitors starting from December 1st.

“There will be two major concerts by Lepa Brena and Željko Samardžić. Banja Luka has several parks where we will celebrate New Year’s and Christmas, as well as all other major holidays,” stated Drashko Stanivuković, the mayor of Banja Luka.

This year, capacities have expanded, and an additional number of stalls have been provided, making the entire “Petar Kočić Park” available to visitors. Additionally, an exceptionally rich program with over 300 hours of various musical and entertainment content has been prepared.

“Of course, it’s in our interest to make the content better every year, and I hope that both domestic and international tourists will be satisfied,” mentioned Neven Stanić, Director of the City Development Agency.

The Tourist Organization has already commenced the promotion of Banja Luka’s winter offerings, and according to information from hoteliers, almost all accommodation capacities are nearly booked.

“In the first 10 months of this year, Banja Luka surpassed last year’s record for the entire year, so we expect a new record-breaking year, aiming to surpass all previous results in 2023,” said Dragana Vukliš, Director of the Tourist Organization of the City of Banja Luka.

This year, Banja Luka will celebrate Saint Nicholas’ Day, Children’s New Year, and a special program will be arranged to mark January 9th – Republic Day. Orthodox New Year will also be commemorated in a slightly different manner.
