“Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, stated that during tomorrow’s Presidency session, information will be requested regarding the allegations made by the Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Zukan Helez. Additionally, she mentioned that in the upcoming period, she will initiate efforts to acquire information about radical Islamic occurrences in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

Cvijanović mentioned that for tomorrow’s Presidency session of BiH, she proposed to address Helez’s statements regarding “the existence of certain paramilitary formations and camps in the territory of Republika Srpska,” as that point deserves attention and clarification, aiming to identify the source of this information.

“Where is this written what Helez is stating in public? A couple of bombastic sentences appear, then it becomes an amusement for domestic and international public,” stated Cvijanović. She added that tomorrow’s Presidency session of BiH will only request information from the Intelligence-Security Agency and those who discussed this matter.

“However, what has been heard in public clearly shows that there are no real threats,” emphasized Cvijanović. She highlighted that this was a fabricated story built around the narrative of “a minister in agreement with Albanian and Bosniak lobbyists worldwide,” as articulated by a British woman who promptly spoke out.

“These are things created in conjunction to provoke disturbances and draw attention, once again directing negative attention towards Republika Srpska,” Cvijanović stated.

She mentioned that it would be good to gather information during the Presidency session of BiH, which will be initiated in the coming period, about the occurrences related to radical Islamic manifestations, the paramilitaries, the so-called humanitarian organizations that, in reality, promote radicalization on a global scale. She expressed hope that these pieces of information would be provided.
