“The Cooperation of the National Theater of the Republic of Srpska with Cultural Institutions in the Russian Federation Continued Today with the Participation of Director Dijana Grbić, who Represented our Institution at the Forum of United Cultures in Saint Petersburg. This event is one of the most prestigious cultural forums in this part of the world, gathering cultural delegates from over 70 countries, and one of the organizers is the Government of the Russian Federation.

Ms. Grbić stated on this occasion: ‘Over the past year, we have developed an exceptionally successful collaboration with the Alexandrinsky Theatre from Saint Petersburg, aiming to expand and give an additional impulse to cultural exchanges with the Russian Federation. Participating in the Cultural Forum in Saint Petersburg is an opportunity to establish additional contacts and to represent our national theater and the Republic of Srpska in the right light.

It is a particular honor and privilege to represent the national theater at the Forum, which this year has gathered hundreds of cultural workers from various parts of the world. Within the Forum, I had the opportunity, among other things, to participate in one of the panel discussions where we discussed experiences in the transformation of cultural management, as well as the creative synergy between the theaters of the Republic of Srpska and the Russian Federation.

‘She also emphasized that this was an extraordinary opportunity to emphasize that even in such challenging times, art must remain a bridge that connects different peoples and cultures.”
